3 days akong nakidnap ng mga alagad ng Crazy Dancing Men Troupe at pwersahang kinupkop sa Rm. 2002, UP Alumni Hostel upang gawin ang isang ultra-electro-secret project hint hint hint at upang makiisa na rin sa kanilang pagsosoundtrip ng surfer nando, kamon kamon, white stripes, ustad zakir hussain (napakalupit na tabla player). white stripes, atari teenage riot, at tori amos. pati na rin sa pakikipagharutan at sa pag-eentartain kay baby keona sa pamamagitan ng aming napakarubdob at mala komedyang pagsasayaw – hence the name Crazy Dancing Men Troupe.

sobrang kakaflip ang sked ko kse i had to meet up with zoorex of inksurge kse they had me help them out compressing this video they had na pinalabas nila sa OFFF sa spain — ts! bigtaym!!! hahaha…nakakaaliw yung video. check nyo n lng sa homepage ng inksurge para ma-view nyo at para masubukan din natin kng gaano kalupit ang hosting nila kng bibigay yng bandwidth limit hahaha. the video was so funny, and at times gross hahaha — reminiscent ng strangebrew (yues nu kids, go click away), they had help from furball inc., haha — naaala ko tuloy si jun sabayton and his drunk moments.

so there, late ako kse dapat sa greenhills kme magkikita kaya resked kme later that night sa pearl drive, where incedentally, may gig kme ng 9pm.

tapos 8pm i was attending this production meeting for this new b2b company at nag-discuss kme ng collaterals, colorsets ng logo — at yng punyemas na avp nila wala pa ring script! hahaha…

it went ok naman, i was on a cab to pearl drive by 830pm, met up with zoo and chatter over coffee — actually sha lgn yng nagkakape — ok pa naman ako nun. nagbalitaan lng nung kung ano ano tungkol sa kwan kwan dyan sa tabi tabi. tapos i gave him the cd and we parted ways, he’s excited to go home and tutugtog na kami, luckily the venue was jst across the street so madali lng.

pool party chong! hahaha. loopet. kaso indoors kaya parang anlabo coz everybody obviously wanted to smoke lng, and nobody was actually in the pool — so yun.

andaming bands dun. puro mga emo punk chong! hahaha…di ko trip yung ganun ganun e. so yun. buti n lng may kakilala akong bands dun. giniling festival was there, and i was actually suprised to see the brew’s alvin zafra with them. sha yung drummer for the night coz alay is busy with school.

tapos ganda nung gimik nila, face paint pre — mudyvane ang get-up, so i gladly helped them out painting their faces and doing some tribal tribal shit on guitarist lec, kse sobrang nababato din ako.

tapos a couple of bands were there, boy elroy and sponge cola. they were good.

tapos yun kami na hahahha! four songs lng dapat na maikli kaso binagalan namin lahat tapos nagdagdag pa kme ng isa kse feeling ko lasing na tong mga kasama ko especially dru, the drummer – who was tripping while we went through our set.

basta sobrang saya ng set, sobrang pawis na pawis at pagod na pagod ako sa set na yun, especially when we did A little more time, an original, and a band favourite kse sobrang sarap tugtugin — lasang manok chong! hahaha…

tapos yun, pack up. trip dito, trip dun habang kumakain. the pumpkin soup was exquisite! sabi ko nga mas masarap pa sa sex e hahaha, that was the hirit of the night. at andun nga pala si timmy coz baki was there — and it was a weekend. timmy is also busy with school, isang batang dapat tularan hahaha…

tapos yun basta umuwi kami, kasama nga pala namin si monci, originally from popgun (na naging popgone hahaha) — hes doing guitars for us now. woohooo!

sundei

second day ng upcat. marami na namang kids and nasa diliman upang sumali sa malawakang pakontest. so yun, lunch time, i met up with ate mel, a contemporary from kontragapi and pahinungod, kse we all had to go to auraues solito’s house. i’m going there to drop off his wooohooo cannes wooohooo fellowship application, and ate mel and his friend were going there for lunch and chika chika na din coz auraues and the rest of them are philippines science alumnis. so yun.

as usual, hai’s cooking was superb. hai, is auraues’ partner and he is vietnames, so you can imagine the cooking. we had pasta, na may asparagus! sarap. tapos yung lemonade na ibang klase — too bad ayaw nya ibigay yng recipe argh! hehehe

so yun, we talked about his future film project and burned some files na he wanted me to work on and i went ahead na kse ahem me ahem…susunduin ako sa upcat. ahem.

medyo malakas lng naman ulan kaya sira porma ko, dahil as usual nakapambahay lng ako.

i got to up ng mas maaga so i went to the hostel to check up on our little project. keona was asleep so di ko sha nalaro, then i went to engineering to meet up wiht chika.

hindi ko alam na saab was going to b there, so yun. ok naman, naging tour guide nila ako sa diliman kse naglalakad lng kme, dahils wala kaming pera lahat at pumapatay kme ng oras.

its funny kse a week ago yata, saab and her classmates got a free tour around up, and their tour guide told them na yng beta way (the pathway / shortcut from engineering to as) was private, and only members of the beta epsilon fraternity were allowed to use it – bwhahahaha!!! labo!

so we went to as using the beta way (its way beta, brotha — hahaha!) tapos tamaby kme dun while saab is waiting for doods to pick him up or not pick him up — basta malabo tlaga sira. suko ako sa kanila.

anyways, we had a few good laughs. especially when chika made those midget jokes na may movements — classique! hahaha…tapos nag-scheme pa man din kme ng madramang eksena para pagdating ni doods medyo naxxx…hahaha. kaso nasira din so yun, saab went ahead around 7 and chika and i walked a kilometer ata. hahaha…dn then….

i went back to the hostel and we worked on a couple of videos more na kailangang i-color grade, and did a quick run-through of the design ng print collaterals coz were scheduled to meet up with boss vic of bmg the next day.

monday

tulog kme lahat pati si demps sapagkat hindi ko pala sila nadalahn ng bagong episodes ng familyguy — because some asshole deleted 20gigs worth of videos from my computer without telling me. badtrip ako pero oks lng. nagtiyaga ng lng kme sa soundtrips (see prologue waaay up there for details).

tapos around 3pm we were on our way to bmg with the vcd masters.
evertything went out ok pero hassle tlaga yng dvd player nila — philips — e sobrang saksakan ng arte yung magbasa so. so hindi ganun ka-perfect yng lumabas na video. pero ok lng, kumbaga the deal is sealed bwahaha.

that means no more kidnapping incident sa up hostel for the meantime. balak naman nila sa la union ako dalhin, sa surfing community — hahaha. pero not jst yet, i have to catch up with reall work, thyer kinda piling up. aheheh, hahabol ako sa la union before the 20th. tapos sabay kmeng aakyat sa baguio for the closing nung exhibit, gamit naming yung pink beetle ni demps — wahoo! road treeep
