Leopard’s Screen-sharing in action

this is a screencap of my vista desktop, running a vnc to connect to my powerbook (on leopard with screen-sharing turned on). i did this because i needed to copy a huge folder from my laptop.

normally, i would see the powerbook on my network but it disappeared when i upgraded to leopard. i’m too lazy to go to the other room so here we are.

the transfer is halfway finished now, then i found out what the problem was.

on tiger, you should see sa windows sharing checkbox under the sharing prefane, but its not there anymore on leopard. instead, you should go and enable file sharing, then go to options and enable SMB. wow.
